What do we offer?

On these pages you can find key information about the IMProVET project and its outputs:

  • Set of publicly accessible online courses covering the area of electronic communications, multimedia and industrial automation (details…)
  • Multilingual multimedia dictionary with an explanatory part
For how much?

The expenses related to course development and pilot run are fully covered by EU grant and by the project partners until the end of 2013. Therefore, tuition is completely free for course participants who will register until 31. 12. 2013.

For whom?

The courses are primarily targeted at students of vocational education and training institutions; all courses are developed in close collaboration with their teachers. However, anyone who wants to obtain better knowledge in the given areas, with respect to the recent development of technology, can also join them.

The authors of the courses are experts from universities and industrial companies in four EU countries (details…)

What about the duration?

Participants who will study the courses within their regular lessons at secondary schools, will work at a pace determined by their teacher / professor.
Other participants will study at their own pace. The recommended schedule is two hours twice a week within five months (per course), i.e. about one semester.

The courses are offered in the following forms:

  1. ePUB format for e-book readers,
  2. PDF format – electronic version suitable for printing,
  3. LMS – online version (selected topics or their parts)

The participants therefore need a computer with an Internet connection OR an e-book reader (which can handle the ePUB format) OR a PDF viewer (e.g. Adobe Reader) OR, optionally, a printer (if a hardcopy is needed, although we do not recommend this option with respect to the environmental issues).
